Medical Students
Residency Application
We match residents annually into an expanding program of 18 per class. Interviews are a two-way conversation — meet our residents, explore our culture, and ask hard questions.
Application Requirements
- Completed application via ERAS / CAS
- USMLE / COMLEX examination scores
- Three letters of recommendation — EM faculty-authored letters strongly preferred
- At least one SLOE (required unless extenuating circumstances; additional SLOEs are never penalized)
- Medical school transcripts
- Dean’s letter (MSPE)
- ECFMG certification for international medical graduates
Interview Season
Invitations are distributed on a rolling basis, with the interview season spanning September/October through December/January.
Interviews here are a two-way conversation: a chance to meet residents, explore program culture, and discuss anything on your mind about training.
